Common use of Security for Completion of Improvements Clause in Contracts

Security for Completion of Improvements. The Developer agrees to provide and continuously maintain security (the "Security") for the completion of the Developer Public Improvements in accordance with Chapter 7 of the City Subdivision Ordinance. The Security must be in the amount of 100% of the cost estimate for the Developer Public Improvements approved by the City Engineer. The Security must be submitted and approved prior to the filing of the final plat.
