Common use of Security obligations of the Concessionaire Clause in Contracts

Security obligations of the Concessionaire. 21.1.1 The Concessionaire shall provide and maintain perimeter fencing or other suitable protection around the Project and shall be responsible for the security arrangements for the Project in order to maintain safe and orderly conduct of its business and the security thereof. 21.1.2 The Concessionaire shall install and operate a closed circuit television system to monitor the Project and such other parts of the Project as may be necessary and expedient for safe operations of the Project in accordance with Good Industry Practice. 21.1.3 The Concessionaire shall engage and depute trained personnel for maintaining the security and safety of Users inside the Project Site in accordance with Good Industry Practice. 21.1.4 The Concessionaire shall not be entitled to any compensation for disruption of its operations or loss or damage resulting from the Authority’s actions or the actions of any organization authorised by the Authority other than those resulting from wilful or grossly negligent acts and omissions of the Authority. The Authority agrees that it shall cause the relevant organization to take such actions as reasonably deemed necessary by them for the security of the Project, without unduly disrupting the operations of the Project or interfering with the exercise of rights or fulfilment of obligations by the Concessionaire under this Agreement. The Concessionaire agrees that it shall extend its full support and cooperation to the Authority and to the other organization authorised by the Government in discharge of their obligations for and in respect to the security of the Project.
