Selection from outside the College. Selection of a Division Chair from outside of the College will follow the College’s standard hiring process. a. A job announcement shall be posted by Human Resources, applications collected and a recruitment process shall commence following the College’s standard hiring process. b. A search committee consisting of divisional faculty shall review application materials and determine finalists. c. Finalist shall interview with the search committee, participate in a divisional forum, and interview with the Vice President for Instruction. d. The search committee shall forward names of acceptable applicants to the Vice President for Instruction for selection. e. If the search committee does not forward at least two names to the Vice President for Instruction, and the Vice President for Instruction wants more options, HR will repost the position and begin a new search process.
