Selection of New Chair. (1) In the event that a search for a Chair is required, the Xxxx shall solicit nominations/applications for the position of Chair from Members of the Department. (2) The Xxxx shall forward the list of nominees/applicants to the chair of the DPC. (3) Upon receipt of the list, the DPC chair shall provide ten (10) Working Days’ notice to all Members of a special department meeting to review the candidates. The Xxxx shall chair the special meeting, and administer a secret ballot by all Members of the Department, except those Members in receipt of long term disability benefits or those on leave pursuant to Clauses 26.23(3), 26.24, or 26.37 (4) All Members eligible to vote shall be afforded a reasonable opportunity to vote.
