Selective Router Sample Clauses
A Selective Router clause defines the mechanism by which emergency calls are routed to the appropriate public safety answering point (PSAP) based on the caller's location. In practice, this clause specifies the use of a selective router system that automatically directs 911 calls to the correct emergency dispatch center, depending on the geographic area from which the call originates. The core function of this clause is to ensure that emergency calls are efficiently and accurately routed, minimizing response times and reducing the risk of misdirected calls.
Selective Router. The equipment used to route 911 calls to the proper PSAP, or other designated destinations, based upon the caller’s location information and other factors.
