Common use of Seller’s Pollution Liability Clause in Contracts

Seller’s Pollution Liability. (i) Coverage for bodily injury, property damage, including clean up costs and defense costs resulting from sudden, accidental and gradual pollution conditions, including the discharge, dispersal, release or escape of smoke, vapors, soot, fumes, acids, alkalis, toxic chemicals, hydrocarbons, liquids or gases, waste materials or other irritants, contaminants or pollutants into or upon land, the atmosphere or any water course or body of water shall be maintained. (ii) The limit shall not be less than $1,000,000 each occurrence for bodily injury and property damage. (iii) The policy shall endorse PG&E as additional insured.
