Senior Associate. (Clinical, research or library) This title may be awarded following six (6) years of successful employment at the rank of associate and following the process for evaluation as specified in the Department Plan. This is not a tenurable position.
Senior Associate. Faculty is a faculty member who is neither tenured, tenure- track, nor on a temporary full-time contract. By definition, a Senior Associate Faculty member is a part-time faculty member. A Senior Associate Faculty appointment carries with it no promise or expectation of continued employment, and the College maintains the right to decide whether or not to rehire a Senior Associate Faculty member subject to the terms and conditions set out in Article X.
Senior Associate. Xxxxxxx Xxxxx is a Senior Associate Consultant providing a level of quality assurance to all the Xxxxx Resources Unlimited projects. In addition to project management support, Xxxxxxx provides the exploratory data analysis, report development and quality assurance needed to ensure client delivery of services and project deliverables. PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE Xxxxxxx was responsible for the implementing and managing the parking solution for the City of Sausalito. XXXXX began this project by developing and managing the Parking Technology Request for Information and coordinating a field pilot which included managing equipment trials from six different technology vendors. In addition to the pilot, this was a critical community engagement project that required XXXXX to be actively involved, managing community involvement and participation throughout the pilot. The technology pilot concluded and XXXXX negotiated the successful vendor contract and implementation including integrating enforcement technology and a mobile payment system. The City retained XXXXX from July 2015 to September 2016 to provide ongoing parking management support for the entire parking operation. Xxxxxxx was also the project lead on our Xxxxxxxx Park project with the Los Angeles Department of Recreation and Parks. He successfully led the implementation and reconfiguration of the parking and transportation plan within Xxxxxxxx Park. XXXXX sub- contracted a traffic engineering firm, environmental engineering firm and wayfinding company to assist in establishing the guidelines and recommendations necessary to implement a paid parking solution, a shuttle program and traffic circulation alternatives throughout the Park’s roadways. Xxxxxxxx Park successfully implemented a paid parking system and shuttle system in time for the 2017 spring break peak season under XXXXX’x guidance. More recently, Xxxxxxx has been directly managing the XXXXX Park City project. This innovative comprehensive approach to parking and transportation is a complex technology solution. He works closely with the City focusing on stakeholder engagement while ensuring the project priorities of congestion mitigation and customer convenience. The advanced solutions being introduced include a downtown incentive program that is tied to the upcoming shuttle circulator deployment.   • Managing Director 1. The Managing Director shall be appointed by the Board of Governors from among candidates having the nationality of an ESM Member, relevant international experience and a high level of competence in economic and financial matters. Whilst holding office, the Managing Director may not be a Governor or Director or an alternate of either. 2. The term of office of the Managing Director shall be five years. He or she may be re-appointed once. The Managing Director shall, however, cease to hold office when the Board of Governors so decides. 3. The Managing Director shall chair the meetings of the Board of Directors and shall participate in the meetings of the Board of Governors. 4. The Managing Director shall be chief of the staff of the ESM. He or she shall be responsible for organising, appointing and dismissing staff in accordance with staff rules to be adopted by the Board of Directors. 5. The Managing Director shall be the legal representative of the ESM and shall conduct, under the direction of the Board of Directors, the current business of the ESM.

  • Associate Professor An Associate Professor is a member of a Faculty of the University who shall ordinarily have the following minimum qualifications: (a) A doctoral degree; (b) Successful experience in university teaching; (c) A significant record of scholarship as defined in Article 1.1(n). (d) A satisfactory record of service to the University, the profession, and the community, as defined in article 8.4.12 and 11.1.14.

  • Associates The Labor Council may designate only one Labor Council Associate and alternate at each Department/Agency facility. The Labor Council Associates are union stewards as that term is generally used. The alternate shall serve in the absence of the Associate. The Associate or alternate will be permitted reasonable time off during his/her normal tour of duty to attend to the administration of the Agreement, to investigate and process grievances for employees, and represent employees as provided for in the grievance procedure contained in Article 20. Additionally Associates will be permitted reasonable time off during his/her normal tour of duty to represent employees in predisciplinary meetings at regular rate with no loss of benefits. During such time the Associate or alternate shall continue to be paid at his/her regular rate and shall receive all fringe benefits, seniority accrual and other benefits. When not using time for such purposes, Associates and alternates will perform their regularly assigned job duties. An employee must have completed his/her probationary period before becoming an Associate or alternate. In addition to the time permitted by the grievance procedure, each Labor Council Associate or alternate shall be permitted to use a reasonable amount of paid time to consult with Labor Council representatives and represent bargaining unit members at grievance meetings. Associates and alternates, of the Ohio Department of Natural Resource, may cross division lines within each affected department to represent employees in grievance and predisciplinary meetings. Negotiating Committee members who are off duty or using banked hours under Section 10.04 (B.) may cross departmental and division lines for the same purposes. Each Associate or alternate will notify his/her supervisor of the necessity to leave his/her work assignment to carry out duties in connection with this Agreement. Associates may use a reasonable amount of working time to receive and investigate complaints and grievances of employees on the premises of the Employer only if such activity does not interfere with or interrupt Department/Agency operations and with prior approval by the grievant's supervi sor. Permission will be granted after consideration of work operations by the Employer. Such permission will not be unreasonably withheld. If it should become necessary to deny such paid time in connection with the investigation or processing of a grievance, the time provided in the grievance procedure for action to be taken by the Labor Council will automatically be extended. Such extensions will be calculated by adding one working day to the time limits for each day on which the Labor Council Associate or alternate is denied paid time to carry out his/her duties in connection with this Agreement. Upon entering any work area other than his/her own and prior to engaging in any xxxxxxx duties, the Associate shall report to the supervisor of the work area. He/she shall identify the nature of the activity he/she is to perform. The Labor Council shall provide written notification to the Employer of the appointment of Associates or alternates five (5) days prior to such appointment being effective. No appointment will be recognized until written notification is received by the Employer. All requests for any form of time off from work pursuant to this Article must be made by completing a form or log provided by the Employer, which may include electronic mail. Except by mutual agreement, no employee will be granted any time off pursuant to this Article, without completing the form or log prior to the utilization of such time, and securing authorization by attempting to contact all identified management representatives and obtaining permission to utilize such time. The employee shall enter on the form the time the leave commences, and upon returning, the employee shall enter the return time. Employees who do not return to their worksite prior to the end of the employee’s workday shall complete the form at the beginning of the employee’s next workday. Employees who normally work out of the office, will work out an acceptable alternative union leave request procedure with their supervisor. In the absence of a mutually agreed to form, the employee shall use state leave forms. Additionally, Delegates shall be permitted eight (8) hours of paid administrative leave to attend the Ohio Labor Council Annual One Day Conference and up to eight (8) hours of paid administrative leave shall be granted monthly to any bargaining unit employee who serves on the Ohio Labor Council Board of Directors for the purpose of attending the monthly Board of Directors meeting. Up to eight (8) hours of paid administrative leave shall be granted annually to Labor Council Associates or officers for the purpose of associate training, and paid administrative leave shall be granted for any time spent serving on the OCSEA Benefits Trust Board.

  • Joint Venture, Consortium or Association 6.1 If the Supplier is a joint venture, consortium, or association, all of the parties shall be jointly and severally liable to the Procuring Entity for the fulfilment of the provisions of the Contract and shall designate one member of the joint venture, consortium, or association to act as a leader with authority to bind the joint venture, consortium, or association. The composition or the constitution of the joint venture, consortium, or association shall not be altered without the prior written consent of the Procuring Entity.

  • Asset Management Supplier will: i) maintain an asset inventory of all media and equipment where Accenture Data is stored. Access to such media and equipment will be restricted to authorized Personnel; ii) classify Accenture Data so that it is properly identified and access to it is appropriately restricted; iii) maintain an acceptable use policy with restrictions on printing Accenture Data and procedures for appropriately disposing of printed materials that contain Accenture Data when such data is no longer needed under the Agreement; iv) maintain an appropriate approval process whereby Supplier’s approval is required prior to its Personnel storing Accenture Data on portable devices, remotely accessing Accenture Data, or processing such data outside of Supplier facilities. If remote access is approved, Personnel will use multi-factor authentication, which may include the use of smart cards with certificates, One Time Password (OTP) tokens, and biometrics.

  • Executive Director (a) The HMO must employ a qualified individual to serve as the Executive Director for its HHSC HMO Program(s). Such Executive Director must be employed full-time by the HMO, be primarily dedicated to HHSC HMO Program(s), and must hold a Senior Executive or Management position in the HMO’s organization, except that the HMO may propose an alternate structure for the Executive Director position, subject to HHSC’s prior review and written approval. (b) The Executive Director must be authorized and empowered to represent the HMO regarding all matters pertaining to the Contract prior to such representation. The Executive Director must act as liaison between the HMO and the HHSC and must have responsibilities that include, but are not limited to, the following: (1) ensuring the HMO’s compliance with the terms of the Contract, including securing and coordinating resources necessary for such compliance; (2) receiving and responding to all inquiries and requests made by HHSC related to the Contract, in the time frames and formats specified by HHSC. Where practicable, HHSC must consult with the HMO to establish time frames and formats reasonably acceptable to the Parties; (3) attending and participating in regular HHSC HMO Executive Director meetings or conference calls; (4) attending and participating in regular HHSC Regional Advisory Committees (RACs) for managed care (the Executive Director may designate key personnel to attend a RAC if the Executive Director is unable to attend); (5) making best efforts to promptly resolve any issues identified either by the HMO or HHSC that may arise and are related to the Contract; (6) meeting with HHSC representative(s) on a periodic or as needed basis to review the HMO’s performance and resolve issues, and (7) meeting with HHSC at the time and place requested by HHSC, if HHSC determines that the HMO is not in compliance with the requirements of the Contract.

  • Investment Management If and to the extent requested by the Advisor, the Sub-Advisor shall, subject to the supervision of the Advisor, manage all or a portion of the investments of the Portfolio in accordance with the investment objective, policies and limitations provided in the Portfolio's Prospectus or other governing instruments, as amended from time to time, the Investment Company Act of 1940 (the "1940 Act") and rules thereunder, as amended from time to time, and such other limitations as the Trust or Advisor may impose with respect to the Portfolio by notice to the Sub-Advisor. With respect to the portion of the investments of the Portfolio under its management, the Sub-Advisor is authorized to make investment decisions on behalf of the Portfolio with regard to any stock, bond, other security or investment instrument, and to place orders for the purchase and sale of such securities through such broker-dealers as the Sub-Advisor may select. The Sub-Advisor may also be authorized, but only to the extent such duties are delegated in writing by the Advisor, to provide additional investment management services to the Portfolio, including but not limited to services such as managing foreign currency investments, purchasing and selling or writing futures and options contracts, borrowing money or lending securities on behalf of the Portfolio. All investment management and any other activities of the Sub-Advisor shall at all times be subject to the control and direction of the Advisor and the Trust's Board of Trustees.
