Common use of Senior Notes Payable on Redemption Date Clause in Contracts

Senior Notes Payable on Redemption Date. Notice of redemption having been given as aforesaid, the Senior Notes so to be redeemed shall, on the Redemption Date, become due and payable at the Redemption Price therein specified and from and after such date (unless the Company shall default in the payment of the Redemption Price and accrued interest) such Senior Notes shall cease to bear Interest. Upon surrender of any such Senior Note for redemption in accordance with said notice, such 77 Senior Note shall be paid by the Company at the Redemption Price together with accrued Interest to the Redemption Date; provided, however, that installments of Interest whose Stated Maturity is on or prior to the Redemption Date shall be payable to the Holders of such Senior Notes, or one or more Predecessor Senior Notes, registered as such on the relevant Regular Record Dates according to the terms and the provisions of Section 309. If any Senior Note called for redemption shall not be so paid upon surrender thereof for redemption, the principal thereof and premium, if any, thereon shall, until paid, bear interest from the Redemption Date at the rate borne by such Senior Note.
