Separate Payment. Notwithstanding anything contained in this Agreement to the contrary, each and every payment made under this Agreement shall be treated as a separate payment and not as a series of payments.

Separate Payment. Where a separate payment would facilitate the speedy resolution of major organisational change and it can be demonstrated that special circumstances exist, the Secretary may, with the agreement of the Prime Minister, in consultation with the Minister Assisting the Prime Minister for the Public Service, make a separate financial payment in addition to and separate from the entitlements prescribed in the Redeployment, Reduction and Retrenchment provisions in this Agreement for excess employees.
