Common use of Separation and Effective Date Clause in Contracts

Separation and Effective Date. Executive’s last day of employment with the Company was [DATE] (the “Separation Date”). This Agreement shall become effective on the eighth day after Executive signs this Agreement (the “Effective Date”), so long as Executive does not revoke this Agreement pursuant to Paragraph 6(g) below. Executive must elect to execute this Agreement within seventy-five (75) days of the Separation Date. In the event Executive does not sign the Agreement within the seventy-five day period, the terms of this Agreement are null and void and without effect.
