Common use of Service Fees and Charges Clause in Contracts

Service Fees and Charges. You agree to pay any service fees and charges that apply to your account. Service fees may include, but are not limited to, charges for check printing, check writing, stop payment orders, notices of post-dated items, cashiers checks, overdrafts, and insufficient funds checks. These fees, which the Bank will always make reasonable in amount, help the Bank cover the cost of transaction in your account. For a complete list of fees and charges see the Schedule of Charges disclosure for your account type; i.e., Business or Consumer, on our website at xxx.xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.xxx/xxxxxx-xxxxxxxxxxx. If your account is subject to a limited time promotional fees and charges arrangement, at the end of the promotional period fees and charges will apply to your account in accordance with the Schedule of Charges then in effect. Any fees may be deducted from your account without prior notice to you. The Bank will not be liable for dishonoring checks or other withdrawal orders because of insufficient funds resulting from proper deduction of fees. A schedule of the Bank’s current charges is given to you when you open an account and is available at our banking offices. Service fees and charges are subject to change from time to time at the Bank’s discretion. Notice of any changes will be sent to you as may be required by applicable law at the address shown on the Bank’s records or posted at the Bank’s offices. A reasonable period of time will be given before any changes become effective.
