SERVICES BY CLIENT. It is understood and agreed that the CLIENT shall, to the extent reasonable and practicable, assist and cooperate with the ENGINEER in the performance of ENGINEER’s services hereunder. Such assistance and cooperation shall include, but not necessarily be limited to, environmental approval, right of access to work sites; providing material available from the CLIENT’s files such as maps, As-Built drawings, records, and operation and maintenance information; serving all notices, holding all hearings, and fulfilling legal requirements in connection therewith; and rendering assistance in determining the location of existing facilities and improvements which may be affected by the project.
SERVICES BY CLIENT. In order for NGA to perform these services the Client will endeavor to furnish the following:

CLIENT will provide access to site of work, obtain all permits, provide all legal services in connection with the project, and provide environmental impact reports and energy assessments unless specifically included in the scope of work. CLIENT shall pay the costs of checking and inspection fees, zoning application fees, soils engineering fees, testing fees, surveying fees, and all other fees, permits, bond premiums, and all other charges not specifically covered by the scope of work. CLIENT shall designate to CONSULTANT the location of all subsurface utility lines and other subsurface man-made objects (in this agreement collectively called “buried utilities”) within the boundaries of the jobsite. CONSULTANT will conduct at CLIENT’s expense such additional research as in CONSULTANT’s professional opinion is appropriate to attempt to verify the location of buried utilities at the jobsite, but CLIENT shall remain responsible for the accurate designation of their location and, shall indemnify, defend, and hold CONSULTANT harmless from any claims or loss arising from the failure to accurately locate buried utilities.
SERVICES BY CLIENT. CLIENT will provide A/E with a survey of the site to determine the boundary, topography, existing improvements, infrastructure utilities, and existing trees. CLIENT will provide A/E with a geotechnical report to design foundations and paving sections. CLIENT will also provide A/E with CAD files or PDFs of the existing facility floor plans so that A/E can input the existing facilities into Building Information Modeling Software (Revit Format) which is required for the Scope of Work, Plan Review, and Permitting processes. CLIENT will provide access to Work site, obtain applicable permits, provide appropriate legal services in connection with the Project, and provide environmental impact reports and energy assessments, unless specifically included in A/E’s Scope of Work. CLIENT shall pay the costs of inspection fees, zoning application fees, soils engineering fees, testing fees, surveying fees, and all other fees, permits, bond premiums, and all other charges not specifically covered by this Proposal.
