Services in Scope. The Virtual School for Vulnerable Pupils from the local authority will support the educational achievement and aspirations of children with English as an Additional Language through the following duties: Statutory Duties (not charged) Ensure an education is available for all children of compulsory school age that is appropriate to their age, ability, aptitude and any special needs. This duty is irrespective of a child’s immigration status, country of origin or rights of residence in a particular area. Liaison with Home Office and other local authorities Liaison with admissions team to ensure a school place is available that meets the child’s individual needs Other services (chargeable) Provide direct support to children and young people with EAL Provide direct teaching / language integration in ‘The Hub’ for International new arrivals Plan and carry out transition to mainstream schools in line with the children’s needs Support schools by assessing and monitoring children’s language development Provide in class support to individuals and groups of children Provide language interventions as directed by schools to individuals and groups of children Provide after school language support to individuals and groups of children Track and monitor the attendance, engagement and achievement of children and young people with EAL Provide advice and guidance to schools in relation to supporting children and young people with EAL Attend meetings in relation to children and young people with EAL Provide advice and guidance in relation to individual children, language and immigration status Provide advice and guidance to parents and professionals in relation to education of children and young people with EAL Attend meetings in relation to children and young people with EAL Provide advice and guidance in relation to individual children, language and status e.g. refugees and asylum seekers Provide translation services for initial meetings between schools and parents

Services in Scope. The Virtual School for Vulnerable Pupils from the local authority will support the educational achievement and aspirations of Looked After Children (CLA) and children who fulfil the criteria for ‘Post Looked After’ Services1 (PLAC) through the following duties : Ensure that all CLA and PLAC have a full time education which meets their individual needs Take into account the child’s views in identifying and meeting their educational needs Support school admissions of CLA and PLAC to ensure that they are given priority in preference to other children in the over-subscription criteria in their admission arrangements Identify educational needs as part of the assessment process and ensure that these are reflected in the Care and Placement plans Ensure that all CLA have an effective, high quality Personal Education Plan (PEP) Ensure that the actions and activities recorded in the PEP are acted upon Ensure that a relevant local authority representative attends parents’ evening and other relevant meetings such as the annual review of statement of special educational needs/ Education, Health and Care plan Mediate on behalf of CLA and PLAC when they face difficulties in school Ensure that social workers, xxxxxx carers and, where appropriate , parents actively promote opportunities for CLA to participate in high quality learning experiences, including out of school hours learning activities Ensure that care placements are able to support the child’s educational needs and aspirations Support CLA and PLAC with transitions to further education, employment and training Ensure that schools and their governing bodies are aware of the duty on local authorities to promote to the education of CLA (Section 52 Children Act 2004) Support the role of designated teacher for CLA and PLAC Ensure where a CLA attends school, that the designated teacher is aware that the child is looked after and has an up to date copy of the PEP Provide suitable training covering all aspects of the care system Monitor and track outcomes for CLA Ensure effective use of Pupil Premium Plus to improve outcomes for CLA All services provided are statutory and therefore are non-chargeable
Services in Scope. This User Agreement covers your access to and use of the COP. Certain services and/or software may be provided to you under additional or separate specific terms and conditions, as described with regard to the specific service and/or software. In the event of a conflict between this User Agreement and any additional or separate terms and conditions, the additional or separate terms and conditions will prevail with respect to that specific service and/or software. We may change or discontinue any of the services or change or remove features or functionality from time to time. We will notify you of any material change to or discontinuation of the service. If such a change has a material adverse effect on your use of the services, you may notify us in writing and we may provide you resolutions or work-arounds. If we are unable to provide you with a resolution or work-around within a reasonable time, you may terminate this User Agreement by written notice.

  • CHANGES IN SCOPE Any changes in the scope of the Services to be performed under this Contract shall be in the form of a written amendment to this Contract, mutually agreed to and signed by both parties, specifying any such changes, fee adjustments, any adjustment in time of performance, or any other significant factors arising from the changes in the scope of Services.

  • Change in Scope of Work Any change in the scope of the Work, method of performance, nature of materials or price thereof, or any other matter materially affecting the performance or nature of the Work shall not be paid for or accepted unless such change, addition, or deletion is approved in advance and in writing by a valid change order executed by the District. Contractor specifically understands, acknowledges, and agrees that the District shall have the right to request any alterations, deviations, reductions, or additions to the Project or Work, and the cost thereof shall be added to or deducted from the amount of the Contract Price by fair and reasonable valuations. Contractor also agrees to provide the District with all information requested to substantiate the cost of the change order and to inform the District whether the Work will be done by the Contractor or a subcontractor. In addition to any other information requested, Contractor shall submit, prior to approval of the change order, its request for a time extension (if any), as well as all information necessary to substantiate its belief that such change will delay the completion of the Work. If Contractor fails to submit its request for a time extension or the necessary supporting information, it shall be deemed to have waived its right to request such extension.

  • General Scope of Work The Scope of Work and projected level of effort required for these SERVICES is described in Exhibit “A” attached hereto and by this reference made a part of this AGREEMENT. The General Scope of Work was developed utilizing performance based contracting methodologies.

  • Services to Others Clients Nothing contained in this Agreement shall limit or restrict (i) the freedom of the Sub-adviser, or any affiliated person thereof, to render investment management and corporate administrative services to other investment companies, to act as investment manager or investment counselor to other persons, firms, or corporations, or to engage in any other business activities, or (ii) the right of any director, officer, or employee of the Sub-adviser, who may also be a director, officer, or employee of the Fund, to engage in any other business or to devote his or her time and attention in part to the management or other aspects of any other business, whether of a similar nature or a dissimilar nature.

  • General Scope of Services Consultant promises and agrees to furnish to the City all labor, materials, tools, equipment, services, and incidental and customary work necessary to fully and adequately supply the services necessary for the Project ("Services"). The Company has outsourced the development, physical hosting, maintenance and updating of its online Trading Platform to a foreign entity. The Company’s Clients will not have any direct contact with this entity and the Company will take all reasonable steps to ensure the security of all the data regarding the identity of its Clients. The Client hereby acknowledges and accepts the fact that the Company outsources such activities.

  • The Services The HSP agrees to provide the Services on the terms and conditions of this PFA including all of its Appendices and schedules.

  • Services to Other Clients; Certain Affiliated Activities (a) The relationship between the Asset Manager and the Series is as described in this Agreement and nothing in this Agreement, none of the services to be provided pursuant to this Agreement, nor any other matter, shall oblige the Asset Manager to accept responsibilities that are more extensive than those set forth in this Agreement. (b) The Asset Manager’s services to the Series are not exclusive. The Asset Manager may engage in other activities on behalf of itself, any other Managing Party and other clients (which, for the avoidance of doubt, may include other series of the Company). The Series acknowledges and agrees that the Asset Manager may, without prior notice to the Series, give advice to such other clients. The Asset Manager shall not be liable to account to the Series for any profits, commission or remuneration made or received in respect of transactions effected pursuant to the Asset Manager’s advice to another client and nor will the Asset Manager’s fees be abated as a result.

  • 000 SCOPE OF WORK 5. 100 The scope of this Agreement covers all work of a maintenance, repair and renovation nature, assigned by the Owner to the Company and performed by the employees of the Company covered by this Agreement, within the limits of the Owner's plant site.

  • Data Necessary to Perform Services The Trust or its agent shall furnish to USBFS the data necessary to perform the services described herein at such times and in such form as mutually agreed upon.
