Severability, Headings and Assignment Sample Clauses
The "Severability, Headings and Assignment" clause serves to clarify how the contract should be interpreted and applied if certain provisions are found invalid, and how headings and assignment of rights are treated. Specifically, it ensures that if any part of the agreement is deemed unenforceable or illegal, the remainder of the contract remains effective, and that section headings are for convenience only and do not affect interpretation. Additionally, it may address whether parties can transfer their rights or obligations under the contract to others. This clause helps maintain the integrity and enforceability of the contract even if some parts are challenged, and provides clarity on administrative aspects like headings and assignment.
