Severability; Perpetuities; Etc. If any term or provision of this Master Lease or any application thereof shall be declared invalid or unenforceable, the remainder of this Master Lease (or any Lease Supplement) and any other application of such term or provision shall not be affected thereby. If any right or option of the Lessee provided in this Master Lease, including any right or option described in Article XIV, XV, XVIII or XX, would, in the absence of the limitation imposed by this sentence, be invalid or unenforceable as being in violation of the rule against perpetuities or any other rule of law relating to the vesting of an interest in or the suspension of the power of alienation of property, then such right or option shall be exercisable only during the period which shall end twenty-one (21) years after the date of death of the last survivor of the descendants of Xxxxxxxx X.
