SEVERANCE, DISMISSAL AND RETIREMENT PAY. (1401) Severance pay at the rate of one week's wages for each six months of continuous service (or major fraction thereof) by the Employee with the Employer, with a maximum of fifty-two weeks' wages, shall be paid on termination of employment caused by permanent suspension of publication. Severance pay shall not apply in the case of an Employee who does not lose employment through suspension of publication due to merger.
