Common use of Severed provision Clause in Contracts

Severed provision. if it is not possible to agree on a legal substitute provision in accordance with paragraph (b), the relevant provision is to be severed from this Agreement or Transaction, without affecting the enforceability, legality or validity of any other provision of this Agreement or that Transaction.
