Common use of Sheet Metal Work in Connection with Roofing Clause in Contracts

Sheet Metal Work in Connection with Roofing. It is agreed by the Employer that all Sheet Metal work in connection with a Roofing contract shall be performed by Sheet Metal Workers who are members of the Local Union having jurisdiction of the project ex- cept in the case of the common drip edge which shall be installed by Roofers as in the present practice. It is further agreed that where the Roofing Contrac- tor has no Sheet Metal Department in connection with his firm, he shall subcontract the Sheet Metal work to a company who is signatory to an agreement with and employing members of the Sheet Metal Workers’ Inter- national Association having jurisdiction of the Project.
