Shoreline Administrator. The Shoreline Administrator for the City is the Public Works Director or his/her designee. The Shoreline Administrator is vested with the authority to: A. Administrate the City’s Shoreline Master Program. B. Advise interested persons and prospective applicants as to the administrative procedures and related components of the City’s Shoreline Master Program. C. Determine applicable fees and collect fees for all necessary permits as provided in City ordinances or resolutions. D. Make field inspections as needed, and prepare or require reports on shoreline permit applications. E. Make administrative decisions and interpretations of the policies and regulations of the City’s Shoreline Master Program and the Shoreline Management Act. X. Xxxxx or deny exemptions from shoreline substantial development permit requirements. X. Xxxxx or deny shoreline substantial development permits and time extensions to shoreline permits and their revisions. H. Make written recommendations to the Planning Commission or City Council as appropriate.
