Sick Leave Cash-Out, Resignation, Retirement or Death. 34 Pursuant to RCW 28A.400.210(228A.400.210 (2), at the time of separation from school district 35 employment, an eligible employee or the employee's estate shall receive remuneration at aa rate equal to one (1) day's current monetary compensation for each four (4) full days accrued leave for illness or injury, provided no employee may receive compensation under this section for any portion of leave for illness or injury which was accumulated at a rate in excess of one (1) day per month.
