Sickness Payments Clause Samples

The Sickness Payments clause outlines the employer's obligations to provide compensation to employees who are unable to work due to illness. Typically, this clause specifies eligibility requirements, such as minimum length of service, and details the amount and duration of payments, which may be a percentage of regular salary for a set period. Its core function is to ensure financial support for employees during periods of sickness, thereby offering security and clarity regarding entitlements when health issues prevent work.
