Common use of Signing Date Payment Clause in Contracts

Signing Date Payment. In consideration of the Option, the Optionee hereby agrees to pay to the Optionor, upon the execution of this Agreement, the sum of Twenty Thousand Dollars ($20,000) (the “Option Payment”) promptly upon the execution of this Agreement, in immediately available cash, by wire transfer to an account designated in writing by the Optionor. The Option Payment shall be nonrefundable to the Optionee except in the event the Optionor fails to consummate the Closing for any reason (other than due to a default by the Optionee or failure to obtain any Regulatory Approvals).
