Skill/Assignment Pay. The following provisions apply for additional compensation to employees for receiving certificates that enhance their ability to do their job: A. The Public Landscape Superintendent shall receive an additional bi- weekly amount of $23.08 if he/she receives a National Recreation and Park Association (NRPA) Playground Safety Inspector Certificate. B. The Urban Forester shall receive an additional bi-weekly amount of $23.08 per certificate or license if he/she receives a Municipal Specialist by the International Society of Arboriculture, a State of California Pest Control Adviser (PCA) License, and/or a State of California Qualified Applicator Certificate (QAC). In order to retain these benefits, the employee must maintain the certification or license. Additional positions may be determined to qualify for the skill pays listed above, during the term of the MOU.
