Social Programs Clause Samples
The Social Programs clause outlines the obligations or commitments of a party, typically an employer or contractor, to support or participate in social initiatives or benefits. This may include providing access to health, education, or community development programs for employees or local communities, or adhering to government-mandated social responsibility requirements. Social Programs. During the period in force of this Contract, the Contractor will spend on Social Programs in Equatorial Guinea:
Social Programs. Reseller may be invited by Juniper (and Reseller may choose to accept) to participate in special programs. Reseller agrees to comply with all terms, conditions, restrictions, and instructions with respect to Reseller’s participate in any special programs. Juniper will provide Reseller with all applicable materials or URL to participate in the special programs. Juniper may cancel a special program at any time and for any reason, or no reason, upon written notice to Reseller.
Social Programs. 23.4.1 During the period in force of this Contract, the Contractor will spend on Social Programs in Equatorial Guinea:
(a) ($...) per Calendar Year during the Period of Exploration; and
(b) Dollars ($...) per Calendar Year during the Development and Production Period.
23.4.2 Support for the Creation of a Ministry of Mines and Hydrocarbons Database During the period in force of this Contract, the Contractor will contribute funding for the Ministry of Mines and Hydrocarbons Database:
A) Dollars ($...) per Calendar Year during the Period of Exploration;
B) Dollars ($...) per Calendar Year during the Development and Production Period.
Social Programs. With the purpose of contributing to the social development of the local community, the Company shall permanently and actively, in coordination with CVG Minerven, become part of any social program during the term of this Agreement, be it assistance to the elderly or to children, or economic support to any local school, or in the form of assistance, which shall begin in a term not exceeding five (5) years from the date commercial production begins. In any event, such program shall be chosen by the Parties, pursuant to the results of a specific social evaluation or diagnosis made to that effect. The implementation of the selected program shall be carried out under the direction of the Company in coordination with CVG Minerven, and cannot exceed Twelve Thousand Dollars (US$12,000.oo) per calendar year.

(a) one hundred thousand Dollars ($100,000) per Calendar Year during the Period of Exploration; and
(b) three hundred thousand Dollars ($300,000) per Calendar Year during the Development and Production Period.
23.4.2 Support for the Maintenance of a Ministry of Mines and Hydrocarbons Database During the period in force of this Contract, the Contractor will transfer to the Ministry to support the implementation and development of the Ministry of Mines and Hydrocarbons Database:
(a) one hundred thousand Dollars ($100,000) per Calendar Year during the Period of Exploration;
(b) three hundred thousand Dollars ($300,000) per Calendar Year during the Development and Production Period.
23.4.3 Contribution for Gas Mega-hub Development Unit The Gas Mega-hub Development Unit was established by the Ministry to assist with the development and implementation of the gas mega-hub vision in Equatorial Guinea, which will convert Bioko Island into a major, global natural gas hub and promote the use of natural gas both locally in Equatorial Guinea and more widely in the region. The Contractor commits to cooperate with the development of the Gas Mega-hub Development Unit and during the period in force of this Contract, the Contractor will transfer to the Ministry in support of the Gas Mega-hub Development Unit:
(a) one hundred thousand Dollars ($100,000) per Calendar Year during the Period of Exploration;
(b) three hundred thousand Dollars ($300,000) per Calendar Year during the Development and Production Period.
