Socio-Economic Requirements. As a federal contractor, Apple also is subject to federal laws, executive orders, and regulations governing certain socio-economic requirements such as Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action. As required by federal regulation and its federal contract(s), Apple incorporates by reference in this contract the following clauses: FAR 52.222-26, Equal Opportunity, FAR 52.222-35, Affirmative Action for Special Disabled and Vietnam Era Veterans, and FAR 52.222-36, Affirmative Action for Workers with Disabilities.
