Soil Erosion Control Measures Clause Samples

The Soil Erosion Control Measures clause requires parties involved in a project to implement specific actions and precautions to prevent or minimize soil erosion during construction or land-disturbing activities. This may include installing silt fences, using erosion control blankets, or scheduling work to avoid periods of heavy rainfall. By mandating these measures, the clause helps protect the environment, maintain site stability, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, ultimately reducing the risk of environmental damage and associated liabilities.
