Solicitation/Acceptance of Gifts or Compensation. No employee or official shall solicit any gifts. No employee or official shall accept any gift or compensation, directly or indirectly from any person that he/she knows or has reason to know, has financial interests, distinguishable from the interest of the public, that would be affected by the actions of the employee or official.
