Source Code Management. ‌ Source code management is a very important resource for a software-centered project like MICO. Prob- ably every organization already has his own source code management tool. But in this context it is important to have a common tool accessible by all partners, but also capable of managing the vari- ant workflows used within the project. For example, there will be cases where all partners involved in a concrete task will directly work on the same repository; in other cases, maybe because internal procedures, some organizations need to privately work using their own infrastructure, and share only after special conditions; and probably many others. Therefore it is clear a Distributed Version Control Systems (DVCS) provides the good solution to address all these requirements. After evaluating the different options available, both hosted and managed, the project has created a team at Bitbucket31 for managing the code. There we can have unlimited repositories and collaborators, including private and public access when necessary. It also gives us the freedom of choosing between Git or Mercurial, although Git would be preferable as the default one as it will be explained later.
Source Code Management. Delivery and Update of Source Code. The Developer shall provide access to the source code to the Customer during the entire term of the agreement and maintain backups for a minimum of 90 days after the termination of the agreement. At all times during and after the term of this agreement, the source code does and will belong to the Customer. Developer must provide the source code to Customer at all times during the term of this Agreement, as well as upon termination or expiration of this agreement.
