PRAKTIK will perform an initial analysis of the projects utilized by users and will provide guidance for best practices around source code management. This will include the creation and configuration of TFS Site Collections and TFS Projects.

Source Code Management. Contractor shall use a source code version control system to manage all system source code. The Fire Department will work with the Contractor to establish a source code repository and provide the Contractor with access to the repository. Contractor shall ensure that City is provided full access and administrative rights to the source code repository, including the ability to review and audit any of the source code at any time. Contractor shall work with the City to provide all project source codes to the City’s source code repository at the end of the engagement.

Source Code Management. Delivery and Update of Source Code. The Developer shall provide access to the source code to the Customer during the entire term of the agreement and maintain backups for a minimum of 90 days after the termination of the agreement. At all times during and after the term of this agreement, the source code does and will belong to the Customer. Source Code Management. ‌ Source code management is a very important resource for a software-centered project like MICO. Prob- ably every organization already has his own source code management tool. But in this context it is important to have a common tool accessible by all partners, but also capable of managing the vari- ant workflows used within the project. For example, there will be cases where all partners involved in a concrete task will directly work on the same repository; in other cases, maybe because internal procedures, some organizations need to privately work using their own infrastructure, and share only after special conditions; and probably many others. Therefore it is clear a Distributed Version Control Systems (DVCS) provides the good solution to address all these requirements.
