Common use of Source of Aggregates Clause in Contracts

Source of Aggregates. The Public Contract Code section 10295.5 requires that no State agency shall purchase or utilize sand, gravel, aggregates, or other minerals unless the source is on an eligible list identifying operations that have met certain requirements of the Surface Mining and Reclamation Act of 1975 (Public Resources Code section 2710 et seq.). Accordingly, the Licensee shall submit to the Trustees documentation that it is complying with the requirements of this law in purchasing these materials
