Spanish Language Platforms Clause Samples
The "Spanish Language Platforms" clause defines requirements or provisions related to the use, availability, or operation of platforms in the Spanish language. Typically, this clause specifies whether a service, website, or application must be accessible in Spanish, or if certain content, support, or user interfaces must be provided in Spanish to accommodate Spanish-speaking users. For example, it may require that all user-facing materials, customer support, or legal notices be available in Spanish. The core function of this clause is to ensure accessibility and inclusivity for Spanish-speaking users, addressing potential language barriers and compliance with relevant regulations or market needs.
Spanish Language Platforms. Licensee shall not Broadcast any Licensed Content or any portion thereof other than on a Spanish Language Platform; it being understood and agreed that the foregoing restriction shall not preclude the Broadcast of Licensed Content in the Licensed Media in the Territory during the Term (a) pursuant to (i) MVPD Arrangements, (ii) Sublicensing Arrangements approved by Licensor pursuant to Section 4 or (iii) UIN Branded Experiences, in each case, involving the Broadcast of Licensed Content through a distributor or aggregator of multi-lingual Audiovisual Content (e.g., Comcast, YouTube, Apple / iTunes); or (b) pursuant to Clip Exchange Arrangements. For the avoidance of doubt, the restriction in this Section 3.2 shall not preclude bona fide Short Form Commercial Advertising on any and all platforms (including non-Spanish language platforms) intended to market, advertise or promote the availability of Licensed Content.
