Sparing Lead Time Sample Clauses

Sparing Lead Time. Same-day sparing requires SMS to obtain an accurate inventory of the locations and quantity of all customer FRU’s. Contracted line items for devices under support do not always capture all of the Customer’s sparing requirements (such as modules, daughter-cards, WICs, and GBICs to be spared). Therefore, SMS requires 30 days from the date it obtains an accurate sparing inventory (either from the customer or through an audit) before it can guarantee same day sparing.
