Special Handling. Costs for delivery of items requiring special handling may be charged to Authorized Users. Orders shall be received in accordance with § 2.15, Ordering. Special Delivery shall be expressed in number of calendar days required to make delivery after receipt of a Purchase Order. Delivery shall be the most economical method for the proper delivery of the product unless special instructions are stated on the order by the Authorized User. Authorized User must be informed of the additional cost prior to delivery and agree in writing to the additional charge. The Contractor shall ensure compliance with all security requirements or other requirements maintained by the Customer (for example, the Florida Department of Law Enforcement has specific security requirements). In instances where special handling is necessary, the Contractor shall notify the Customer at least two Business Days in advance of delivery so that necessary delivery arrangements can be made.

If Company elects to handle, rather than reject, Nonconforming Waste, Company shall have the right to manage the same in the manner deemed most appropriate by Company given the characteristics of the Nonconforming Waste. Company may assess, and You shall pay additional fees associated with delivery of Nonconforming Waste, including, but not limited to, special handling or disposal charges, and costs associated with different quantities of waste, different delivery dates, modifications in operations, specialized equipment, and other operational, environmental, health, safety, or regulatory requirements.
