Special Masters Sample Clauses

The Special Masters clause designates a neutral third party, known as a special master, to assist the court in managing complex aspects of a case. Typically, this individual may be appointed to oversee discovery disputes, review voluminous evidence, or make recommendations on technical matters that require specialized expertise. By involving a special master, the clause helps streamline proceedings, reduce the court's workload, and ensure that complex or technical issues are handled efficiently and fairly.
Special Masters. 11.4.1 The Special Masters will be selected by the agreement of HOC and the SOC. There will be three (3) Special Masters retained to perform the Special Master tasks set forth in this Agreement. 11.4.2 The three (3) Special Masters chosen by the Parties to fill these positions are: ▇▇▇. ▇▇▇▇▇▇ ▇. Boylan (Ret.), Hon. C. ▇▇▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇▇ (▇▇▇.), and ▇▇. ▇▇▇▇▇ ▇. Gentle, III, Esq., or upon the resignation or removal of any one Special Master, any Person(s) to be appointed by the Parties to oversee the administration of claims for benefits. The Special Masters shall be authorized to make final and binding determinations under this Agreement with the authority of an Arbitrator under the Federal Arbitration Act.

  • Financial Management System Subrecipient shall establish and maintain a sound financial management system, based upon generally accepted accounting principles. Contractor’s system shall provide fiscal control and accounting procedures that will include the following: i. Information pertaining to tuition rates, payments, and educational assistance payments; and

  • Financial Management Government financing and accounting activities (e.g., billing and accounting, credit/charge, expense management, payroll, payment/settlement, debt collection, revenue management, internal controls, auditing, activity based management, currency translation). Asset/Material Management: Acquisition and management of Federal government assets (property/asset management, asset cataloging/identification, asset transfer/allocation/maintenance, facilities management, computers/automation management). Development and Integration: Development and integration of systems across diverse operating platforms (e.g., legacy integration, enterprise application integration, data integration, instrumentation/testing, software development). Human Capital/Workforce Management Development and Integration: Planning and supervisory operations surrounding government personnel (e.g., resource planning/allocation, skills management, workforce directory/locator, team/organization management, contingent workforce management).

  • REGULATORY ADMINISTRATION SERVICES BNY Mellon shall provide the following regulatory administration services for each Fund and Series:  Assist the Fund in responding to SEC examination requests by providing requested documents in the possession of BNY Mellon that are on the SEC examination request list and by making employees responsible for providing services available to regulatory authorities having jurisdiction over the performance of such services as may be required or reasonably requested by such regulatory authorities;  Assist with and/or coordinate such other filings, notices and regulatory matters and other due diligence requests or requests for proposal on such terms and conditions as BNY Mellon and the applicable Fund on behalf of itself and its Series may mutually agree upon in writing from time to time; and

  • Joint Marketing ‌ The parties will consult about undertaking joint marketing of the Customer’s Services and the Network.

  • Advertising and Marketing The Parties agree not to use the name of the other Party or make any reference to the other Party without the prior written consent of the other Party (which may be via email) in any advertising or marketing materials. Any proposed use of the name of a Party must be submitted in writing for agreement and prior approval. The Parties may elect to collaborate to prepare pre-approved marketing for the Aggregator or for the Competitive Supplier to utilize during the Term of this ESA without approval for each usage.
