Special Reduction in Force Program Sample Clauses

Special Reduction in Force Program. (1) Notwithstanding any other provisions of this Agreement to the contrary, through the following process the Employer may within 12 months of the signing of this Agreement reduce the force by voluntary and involuntary terminations of employment as described herein without regard to seniority. The number of terminations to be effected shall not exceed 120 Employees and shall not be deemed a layoff pursuant to Article I (c). (These limitations apply only to this subsection of the Agreement and do not limit the Employer’s rights to otherwise reduce the force or discharge for good and sufficient cause under Article VII at any time.)
