Common use of Specialized Work Insurance Clause in Contracts

Specialized Work Insurance. ‌ If a Guild Member agrees to perform services while flying in an aircraft, the Producer shall provide each Guild Member with a minimum of three hundred and fifty thousand dollars ($350,000) of accidental death and dismemberment Insurance for each Day on which the Guild Member performs such specialized work assignment. When descending in a submersible vehicle, or diving using a diving mask, air helmet, diving suit, or self contained underwater breathing apparatus (SCUBA), including skin diving in water three (3) metres or more in depth, the same insurance as above shall be required. Said benefits resulting from the policy mentioned above shall be payable to the Guild Member or in the event of death to the beneficiary designated by such Guild Member. If no designation has been made then such benefit shall be paid to the estate of the deceased. BUDGET TIERS‌ The tiers apply from January 1, 2023 to December 31, 2025
