It is required of the contractor to thoroughly study the latest Health and Safety Specification that must be read together with and is deemed to be incorporated under this Section of the bills of quantities / lump sum document. The contractor must take note that compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act, Construction Regulations and Health and Safety Specification is compulsory. In terms the event of partial or total non-compliance, the principal agent, notwithstanding the provisions of clause A31.0 of Section A or any other clause to the contrary, reserves the right to delay issuing any progress payment certificate until the contractor provides satisfactory proof of compliance.
