Splitting between Options. For those teachers eligible for a minimum of two hours of paraeducator time in compensation for overload, the individual teacher may choose to split the overload assistance between any two of the three compensation choices as provided by the contract: (1) Employee remuneration (2) Paraeducator support (3) Instructional materials Paraeducator time or the stipend must be chosen for an entire month. Changes in paraeducator time or the stipend will not be permitted until the beginning of the next month.
