Its core function is to ensure transparency and accuracy regarding spousal relationships, thereby preventing misunderstandings or disputes related to marital status or spousal rights.
Spousal Information. The Borrower certifies to the Lender that all information that the Borrower has given the Lender about the Borrower’s marital status and the Hypothecated Property when applying for the Loan are true and accurate under the laws regarding spousal property rights in the Province of Québec. If any change in such status of the qualification of the Hypothecated Property as spousal property under these laws should change, the Borrower agrees to inform the ▇▇▇▇▇▇ immediately of such changes in writing.
Spousal Information. If the borrower and/or cosigner file a joint federal income tax return with his or her spouse, the eligibility determination and monthly payment amount will be based on the combined adjusted gross income (AGI) of the borrower and borrower’s spouse and the cosigner and cosigner’s spouse, regardless of whether the borrower’s or cosigner’s spouse has education loans. Complete this section if the borrower and/or cosigner file a joint federal income tax return with their spouse.
