Staffing Levels to deal with Patient Handling Hazards. The Hospital agrees that, where there is a risk of injury due to patient handling hazards, as determined by a Hospital risk assessment conducted with a worker member of the Joint Health and Safety Committee selected by the worker members on the Joint Health and Safety Committee, an adequate level of trained employees, as identified by the risk assessment, must be present. The Hospital recognizes that workloads can lead to fatigue and a diminished ability both to identify and to subsequently deal with ergonomic hazards.
