Common use of Stakeholder Clause in Contracts

Stakeholder. Where the Deposit is held as ‘Stakeholder’ no deductions can be made from the Deposit without consent, preferably in writing, from both parties, or from the court, or an adjudication decision from mydeposits. ‘The Tenant’ includes anyone to whom the Tenancy has been lawfully transferred. References to ‘the Term’ or ‘the Tenancy’ include any extension or continuation of the Agreement or any periodic Tenancy which may arise following the expiry or determination of the period of the Term specified in clause 2.
