Common use of Standby Loan Transaction Clause in Contracts

Standby Loan Transaction. In the event that the Lessor notifies the Lessee pursuant to clause 16.1.3 that the Standby Lender is willing to enter into the Standby Loan Transaction, and the Lessee notifies the Lessor in writing within fourteen (14) Business Days of the Review Notification Date that it wishes to enter into the Standby Loan Transaction (each of which notifications must be given in respect of the Ship and all of the Sister Ships, but not some only), and subject to the Standby Lender first being indemnified by the Lessee in respect of its costs, the Standby Lender and the Lessee shall in good faith endeavour to conclude the Standby Loan Transaction for the Ship on the Lease Period End Date.
