If this Contract is terminated for any reason, the State shall only be liable for payment for services properly provided prior to the effective date of termination based on the applicable service rates described in Section 6 of this Contract and effective at the time of the termination. The State shall not be liable for any costs incurred by the Contractor in reliance upon this Contract subsequent to the effective date of termination. The rights and remedies of the State and the Contractor under this Section are in additional to any other rights and remedies provided by law or equity or under this Contract.
