Common use of Statements and Copies of Checks Clause in Contracts

If we provide a periodic statement for your account, we will send or make available to you a periodic statement of transactions and activity on your account during the statement period as required by applicable law. In the case of multi-party accounts, you agree and acknowledge that we are required to provide only one statement on the account and can provide it to any one of the parties on the account as we choose. For checking accounts, you understand and agree that your original check (or substitute check), when paid, becomes our property and may not be returned to you. We may, but are not required to, retain the original checks. You agree to keep copies of your checks in order to verify their validity.
