Statutory Coverages Clause Samples

The Statutory Coverages clause defines the requirement for a party, typically an employer or contractor, to maintain insurance or other protections as mandated by law. This clause ensures that all legally required coverages, such as workers’ compensation, unemployment insurance, or disability benefits, are in place for employees or subcontractors involved in the contract. By specifying adherence to statutory insurance obligations, the clause helps prevent legal violations and protects both parties from liability arising from non-compliance with government regulations.
