Common use of Statutory Definitions Clause in Contracts

Statutory Definitions. Unless a term is otherwise defined in this Agreement, terms used in this Agreement shall have the same meaning as the definitions of those terms contained in the Act, or the rules promulgated thereunder. In the event of a conflict between the definition of a term in the Act (or its promulgated rules) and in this Agreement, the definition in this Agreement shall prevail.
