Step Three - Final Written Warning a) If there is failure to improve conduct or performance at the completion of the timeframe specified in the first written warning, a final warning may be given. b) A final written warning may be provided to an employee as a ‘first and final written warning’ if the misconduct is of a serious enough nature to warrant such an approach. c) A final written warning will set out the details of the issue; the improvements required to meet the minimum standards of the role and warn that dismissal may result if there is no satisfactory improvement within a reasonable specified timeframe.
