Step Three – Formal Written Process – Commanding Officer. 1. If the formal written grievance is not resolved in Step Two, or if no answer has been received from his/her immediate management supervisor within seven (7) calendar days from the receiving of the written grievance, the grievant may within seven (7) calendar days present the grievance in writing to his/her Commanding Officer. 2. Failure of the grievant to take this action shall constitute a termination of the grievance, unless there has been a mutually agreed upon time extension.
