Common use of Stock Dividends or Distributions Clause in Contracts

Stock Dividends or Distributions. In the event of a stock dividend or distribution, or any change in the Corvas Common Stock or, after the Effective Time, the Converted Shares by reason of any stock dividend, split-up, recapitalization, combination, exchange of shares or the like, (i) the terms "Corvas Shares" and "Converted Shares" shall be deemed to refer to and include the Corvas Shares or Converted Shares, as the case may be, as well as all such stock dividends and distributions and any shares into which or for which any or all of the Corvas Shares or Converted Shares, as the case may be, may be changed or exchanged.
