Student Contact. Clerical employees' duties shall not include physical contact with students except in emergency situations as defined by the principal or designee, the designation of an emergency shall be made in a reasonable manner. Rubber gloves shall be available on the premises at all times for use in an emergency.
Student Contact. A teacher shall not be assigned more than 310 minutes per day of regular student contact time except in those situations when a teacher has a single semester full period obligation assignment but not to average more than 310 minutes over both semesters. Student contact time shall be defined as any time a teacher is designated or assigned by an administrative representative to be in contact with students in an instructional or supervisory capacity.
