Common use of Student Damages/Cleaning Clause in Contracts

Student Damages/Cleaning. a. Each student is personally responsible and liable for the University’s cost for cleaning, minor pest control and replacement or repair for damage to the structure or furnishings (excluding reasonable wear and tear as determined by EWU) within the resident’s assigned room and/or suite. Costs will be prorated among all residents of shared rooms/suites unless a specific individual or individuals are found responsible.
